Alex NTALE
Chief Executive Officer/CEO
Alex Ntare is Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda ICT Chamber. His work involves bridging the gap between private and public sector players in the ICT industry connecting as well as overseeing and establishing new innovation centers and hubs for technology startups in Rwanda including but not limited to kLab Rwanda, Fablab Rwanda, 250 Startups, Digital Business Institute, Hanga Hubs, etc. Alex is deeply passionate about technology, startups growth and development of financial markets, particularly their potential to address challenges in Rwanda and beyond. Prior to his tenure at the ICT Chamber, Alex worked as a software development consultant and served as a lecturer at Université Libre de Kigali in the Faculty of Finance and Banking. He holds a Master of Science in Investment and Quantitative Finance from the University of Westminster, a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Business Information Technology from the National Computing Centre (NCC Education) in the UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Makerere University in Uganda.
Moïse TUYIZERE
Director of Operations
Moise Tuyizere is a highly experienced professional with over five years in business administration and project management, focusing on advancing Rwanda's ICT sector. As Director of Operations at the Rwanda ICT Chamber since 2018, Moise has supported the implementation of key initiatives that drive industry growth. His leadership has been crucial in strategic planning, financial oversight, and improving operational efficiency across the organization. Moise has played a pivotal role in the implementation of high-impact projects, such as the development of the University Innovation Pod (UNIPOD) and the Hanga Hubs Program, which are aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Rwanda’s ICT ecosystem. His expertise in project management, combined with certifications like the PMP, underscores his dedication to driving meaningful progress in Rwanda's ICT sector.
Consolata NAKURE
HR Director and Project Manager
Consolata is the Human Resource Director and Project Manager at Rwanda ICT Chamber, bringing expertise in project management, cross-functional team leadership, and people management. With strong skills in data analysis, statistics, and monitoring and evaluation, she specializes in e-commerce and data warehousing. Additionally, Consolata holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics from the National University of Rwanda and excels at driving projects and teams toward success across diverse areas. Before joining Rwanda ICT Chamber, Consolata served the Ministry of Agriculture (MINAGRI) as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist after a couple of years serving the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN) as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
Tinah UWASE
Digital Entrepreneurship and International Partnerships Lead
Tina leads Digital Entrepreneurship and International Relations at Rwanda ICT Chamber, with five years of experience in project management and international partnerships. She is adept at cultivating a positive work environment that aligns with the organization’s goals. Tina possesses invaluable skills in project management, digital entrepreneurship, business analysis, and international relations. These competencies enable her to successfully drive initiatives and projects that promote entrepreneurship and strengthen international partnerships.
Christophe DUSHIME
DBI Managing Director
Chris Dushime has been the lead project manager at Rwanda ICT Chamber since 2019, overseeing the partnership between the Rwandan ICT Chamber and BITMi. With over five years of experience managing private sector projects, he brings a strong focus on business administration and project management. Chris is highly enthusiastic and dedicated to advancing private sector initiatives. He holds a Project Management Professional certification, underscoring his expertise in delivering successful outcomes for complex projects.
Philemon MUGISHA
DBI Operations Manager
Philemon joined the project as a project manager in 2019 towards the end of its first phase. Philemon holds a bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Communication with specialization in Arts. Previously, he worked as a marketing and operations professional in various fields including science and technology, serving local and international organizations. Philemon specializes in business operations, marketing and customer relations management,
Magnifique ISHIMWE
Project Manager
Magnifique serves as the Program Manager of Hanga Growth Programs at Rwanda ICT Chamber, leading initiatives that support high-growth startups, angel investors, and local entrepreneurial organizations. Passionate about entrepreneurial growth and disruptive innovations, he focuses on alternative investments. He is an alumnus of Dream VC (2023), an investor accelerator for Africa and emerging markets, Magnifique also holds a certification in financial modeling and valuation analysis. His experience spans consulting for e-commerce platforms at DBI and investment research at kLab. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Magnifique is passionate about ventures and economic ideals that spur investments and foster inclusion.
Prudence TWAHIRWA
Communications Manager
Prudence serves as Communications Manager at Rwanda ICT Chamber. He has expertise in corporate business communication with over 5 years of experience. Additionally, he has a strong background in media, having served as a Multimedia Journalist for Radio Salus and member of African French Forum Journalist (ICFJ). Skilled in working with both local and international organizations, he specializes in business journalism, communication, events management, digital and field awareness campaigns coordination, and digital marketing. Prudence is proficient in content creation and curation, using production and marketing tools including but not limited to Davinci Resolve, Canva, Figma, Mailchimp, HootSuite, SDL Trados, KoboCollect, Google Ads, Adobe Audition and Premiere, and more. He holds a Master in Journalism and Mass Communication from Mount Kenya University and a Bachelor in Translation and Interpreting from University of Rwanda.
Samuel MURAMA
Finance Manager
Samuel is the Finance Manager at Rwanda ICT Chamber and a Certified Public Accountant. He brings invaluable skills in financial analysis, bookkeeping, analytical skills, QuickBooks, and payroll taxes. With a strong background in managing finances, he ensures accurate and efficient financial operations. Samuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Rwanda and plays a key role in supporting the financial health of the Rwanda ICT Chamber.
Djamila KHAMISI
Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Djamila is a Computer Engineer with expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Computer Systems, alongside experience in conducting economic surveys. She is passionate about research with social impact and solving complex problems through data-driven approaches and training. She holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology.
Aline GASANA
DBI Training and Technology Coordinator
Aline is a Computer Engineer with expertise in Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate| Energy Systems & Data Science. She is passionate about research with social impact and solving complex problems through data-driven approaches and training. She holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology. Additionally, Aline is a certified Data Product Manager and Data Analyst.
Jeanne Beula
Training and Technology Coordinator
Beula is the Technology and Training Coordinator at Rwanda ICT Chamber, specializing in computer sciences, big data, and business analysis. She plays a key role in developing and implementing technology-driven training programs, designing and facilitating workshops to equip participants with the latest digital skills. By staying current with emerging technologies, Beula helps bridge the gap between technical advancements and workforce development. Prior to joining Rwanda ICT Chamber, she worked with local and international organizations, including GIZ and the Rwanda Revenue Authority. Her expertise lies in computer science, data management, and digital training coordination.
Sheldah UMUTESI
Membership Coordinator
Sheldah is the Membership Coordinator at Rwanda ICT Chamber, combining her passion for technology innovation with expertise in finance and project coordination. With a strong background in financial analysis, sales, and client relationship management, she excels at optimizing operations and driving organizational growth. Sheldah is highly motivated and thrives on leveraging her analytical and interpersonal skills to enhance membership coordination and event planning. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Rwanda and specializes in financial operations, membership coordination, and events management.
Fred NTWALI
M&E Assistant
Fred is a monitoring and evaluation professional and data analyst, specializing in data engineering, visualization, and storytelling using tools like Power BI, BigQuery, and Snowflake. His expertise lies in data analysis, management, and creating insightful visualizations. Fred holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Rwanda. Prior to joining Rwanda ICT Chamber, he worked as a Data Analyst at kLab Rwanda and served as a coach for the Rwanda Mathematics Olympiad. With advanced skills in Excel and a passion for leveraging data, Fred is dedicated to driving informed decision-making through impactful data insights.
Jean Jacques RUTARINDWA
Graphic Designer
Jacques specializes in Digital Multimedia and Graphic. Since he joined Rwanda ICT Chamber in 2022, Jacques has been delivering on creating compelling graphics, leading animations and events coverage and branding. He has more than 5 years of experience in graphic designing, Branding and Motion Graphics. Prior to joining Rwanda ICT Chamber,/Jacques served Mango Telecom as Creative Director. Jacques is more focused on creating eye-catching visuals and meaningful experiences through design and animation.
Christella Ineza
Communications Officer
In her journey from being a startup consultant to impacting people through writing, Christella Ineza is a curious, communications consultant on a mission to use words to empower others. She's pursuing a Bachelor of Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership University, where she believes her dreams of becoming a renowned social entrepreneur and sought-after business consultant will flourish. Besides being a proactive individual, she is a family person who loves reading books, sports, and spending time with friends.
